Campaign rules and guidelines

The ‘Bin Feeling Down’ (BFD) social media competition will run from 13 February to 15 March 2024 to coincide with the ‘Bin Feeling Down’ campaign (hosted by Coventry City Council and Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Talking Therapies).

The competition aims to raise awareness of the service by asking people to post videos and photos on the Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Talking Therapies social media pages using the hashtag #binfeelingdown or #BFD:

There will be three categories with one winner in each. The winners will receive a £100 donated gift voucher.

Categories

Competition 1

  • Participants will be required to post photos of the BFD design found on bins or lorries (not in motion) in Coventry.
  • The individual who uploads the most photos of the BFD design on bins, lorries (not in motion) or a combination will win a prize.

Competition 2

  • Participants must take a picture/video of the BFD design found on a bin or lorry (not in motion) in Coventry with a random object within the frame (either held or placed).
  • The main aim is to show your creativity!
  • The most exciting photos (as chosen by the discretion of the judges) will win a prize.

Competition 3

  • Participants will be required to record a video of no more than 30 seconds in front of a BFD design found on a bin or lorry (not in motion) in Coventry answering the question: “Why is using Talking Therapies to support one's mental health is important?”
  • Individuals may wish to share their own stories or simply promote Talking Therapies based on their research or beliefs.
  • Individuals can either choose to talk directly to the camera or create a short film/journalistic piece.
  • The most insightful video photos (as chosen by the discretion of the judges) will win a prize.

In order for these postings to be considered as part of the competition, remember to upload the photo/video on your social media page and tag us on Facebook, Instagram or X (formerly known as Twitter) using the #binfeelingdown or #BFD:

Rules

  • The ‘Bin Feeling Down’ social media competition is open to all members of the public, except for employees of the organisers (Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, Coventry City Council and Coventry and Warwickshire Mind) and their immediate family.
  • By taking part in the competition, each person gives their consent to Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull Talking Therapies to use their photo and/or video to promote the Talking Therapies service, including reposting on social media, in print and other online mediums.
  • While anyone can participate in all three categories, there will be a different winner for each for members of the public to have more chances of winning. For example, if @1234 is judged as having the most creative photo in competition 2 and the best video in competition 3, @1234 will be awarded the £100 voucher in competition 2, while the second-best video creator will be given the £100 voucher in competition 3.
  • Content must not contain any form of nudity, sexual references or inappropriate language.
  • Videos and photos can be captured on a phone, camera, tablet or any other recording and photography device.
  • The competition will close at 11:59PM on Friday 15 March 2024.

Selection of winners and prizes

  • There will be one winner per category (three winners in total). Each person will receive a donated voucher of £100.
  • Three judges will choose the winners. The judges will make their decision without prejudice or bias by Friday 29 March 2024.
  • The winners will be notified first through public announcement on social media and then contacted via direct message. The winners will have until Friday 26 April 2024 to claim their prize.
